A charming vintage jewelry box, or trinket box, with colorful marquetry inlay, lined with red velvet, including a working key. Presumably Moroccan, second half of the 20th century. This high-quality box is in excellent vintage condition, with signs of age and use commensurate with its age. Some small pieces are missing, and it has minor scratches and dings.
