This exceptional teak table is a rare and highly collectible piece designed in the 1950s by the legendary Jens Harald Quistgaard for IHQ (Dansk Designs). Originally created as the master host table for his innovative sliding nesting set, this large table stands beautifully on its own as a sleek, low-profile console, entryway table, or long coffee table.
Design & Features: Crafted entirely from rich, premium Danish teak wood, the table showcases a warm golden-brown patina and an elegant, linear grain pattern. It features Quistgaard's signature minimalist aesthetic, characterized by clean architectural lines, a rectangular top, and structurally integrated legs.
As a testament to its mid-century heritage and clever design, the underside of the table retains the original precision-crafted wooden guide rails—originally engineered to allow the smaller tables of the set to slide and lock seamlessly underneath.
