Product description
A set of two armchairs by the French manufacturer Jean Roche, model Du Barry. This pair, dating from 1984, is an example of the robust and comfortable design for which the brand is known.
The armchairs are made with a solid wooden frame, characterized by turned legs and wide armrests. The cushions are upholstered in supple cognac-colored leather, finished with tufted buttons that accentuate the contours. The original purchase receipt from 1984 from 'Le Grenier de France' in Brussels is present and confirms the origin and model.
The set is in good, used condition consistent with its age. The leather has developed an authentic patina and shows natural folds that contribute to the character of the chairs. The wooden frame is solid and retains its original finish.
