This beautiful desk lamp, model 516, was designed by Jean Perzel in 1936, and produced until the late 1950s, our example being from the 1940s. The base is made of nickel metal, with a slick and beautiful verdigris green patinated shade, with an opaline glass belt. This lamp is an iconic creation of the designer but also a classic timeless twentieth-century design, mixing elegance and modernity, and a testimony of the excellence of Atelier Jean Perzel craftsmanship. It would make a perfect addition to both an Art Deco or a Mid-century desk. This lamp has been fully cleaned and restored, fully rewired, and is in great vintage condition, with beautiful patina. Stamped on the base.
