Product description
Jean Paul Vroom worked with combined lithography and screen printing techniques. He worked as a designer, filmmaker, theater designer, painter, photographer, graphic artist, and illustrator. Internationally, he became particularly known as a designer of sets and costumes, among others for the National Ballet.
Jean Paul Vroom completed his training at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and Ecole Estienne in Paris.
Vroom's work is held in many museum, corporate, and private collections, including the KPN and TPG collections.
Description
The work shows a depiction with a bull terrier and a person, in multi-colored lithographic technique on paper. The soft blue-grey background and brown-white modeling define the image plane. Bottom left inscription épreuve d’artiste, for Dick & Jeanette 29-11-’86, center bottom titled “Happy Days”, bottom right signed and dated ’86.
