An elegant sideboard designed by Jean-Claude Mahey, an iconic figure in 1970s French design, renowned for his refined creations that blend lacquer, architectural lines, and exquisite finishes.
This piece captivates with its superb glossy beige lacquer finish, subtly enhanced with gilt brass details that delicately accentuate its minimalist design. Its aesthetic, both understated and luxurious, perfectly embodies the elegance of 1970s French furniture.
The sideboard offers a highly functional interior with two side doors framing a central column of five drawers, ideal for storing dishes, linens, or everyday items.

Condition: Very good overall condition. The lacquer is superbly preserved, with only two small, discreet chips. The brass plinth shows some pitting and minor signs of wear consistent with age. One hinge was previously repaired, resulting in a slight play when opening the door, but this does not affect its functionality.
