Product description
This is a vintage scissor lamp by Ikea, model V9604, a design from the 1980s.
It has been fully refurbished, with new wiring in black twisted canvas-wrapped cable (2M.).
New E27 socket and inline cord dimmer.
The entire fixture has been cleaned and the chrome shines.
The lamp combines an industrial aesthetic with functional flexibility, making it a sought-after object for lovers of retro design. The extendable scissor mechanism is not only a practical element but also the defining visual characteristic of this fixture.
The construction is entirely made of chromed metal, which provides a bright, reflective finish. The lamp is equipped with a new, twisted black textile cable and a modern dimmer, allowing the light intensity of an LED lamp (from 4 Watt) to be adjusted as desired. The inside of the shade is painted white for optimal and diffuse light distribution. Thanks to the adjustable arm and tiltable shade, the light can be precisely directed where it is needed.
This wall light is in very good, refurbished condition. The original chrome parts have been carefully preserved and show a shine appropriate for the object's age. The electrical wiring has been completely renewed, making the lamp safe and immediately suitable for contemporary use.
Due to its compact and adjustable form, this scissor lamp is ideal as a reading lamp next to a bed or armchair, or as task lighting in an office or studio. The design fits seamlessly into an industrial, vintage, or eclectic interior and adds a functional and stylish accent to the space.
