Product description
This is a vintage armchair by the Belgian manufacturer Tubax, produced in the 1970s. The design is a classic example of the tubular frame aesthetic popular during that period, inspired by the principles of Bauhaus.
The chair is constructed from a chrome-plated metal tubular frame, which forms the continuous sled base. The seat and the slightly curved backrest are upholstered in dark brown skai, a durable and easy-to-maintain imitation leather. The armrests are made of black material, offering a subtle contrast to the shiny chrome and the brown seating surface.
• Total height: approx. 85 cm
• Total width (including armrests): approx. 53 cm
• Total depth: approx. 51 cm
• Seat height: approx. 47 to 48 cm
• Seat depth: approx. 44 to 45 cm
• Armrest height: approx. 70 to 71 cm from the ground
The overall condition of the chair is good and consistent with its age and use. The item retains its original upholstery and finish, contributing to its authentic vintage character. The construction is solid and functional.
With its timeless and minimalist design, this chair is versatile. It functions excellently as a dining chair, office chair, or as a standalone object in a living or working space. The design fits seamlessly into an industrial, modern, or eclectic interior.
