About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a Danish two-seater sofa from the 1960s, crafted in a distinctive Mid-Century style. The piece of furniture is defined by its elegant silhouette with a high backrest and refined, flared armrests, creating a sense of shelter and comfort.
The sofa is fully upholstered in a soft pink velour fabric that accentuates the flowing lines of the design. The wooden base features conical legs typical of Danish design from this period. Decorative details include a row of fabric-covered buttons along the front of the seat and a striking, multicolored fringe trim at the bottom, giving it a classic yet playful character.
The overall condition of the sofa is good and consistent with its age, with the original upholstery and construction preserved. The solid build, visible in the metal no-sag springs, testifies to the durable quality of mid-century craftsmanship. The piece of furniture has an authentic appearance that reflects its history.
With its compact size, this loveseat is an excellent choice for a smaller living room, a reading nook, or as an accent piece in a bedroom. The design fits well within both a vintage and an eclectic or Hollywood Regency interior, where it adds warmth and personality.
The sofa has always been in an animal and smoke-free room.
There are 2 small stains and two small damages.
The color is old pink.
