Rare bentwood lounge chair designed by Jan Vanek and produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. This striking piece features a sculptural ebonized beechwood frame with fluid curved lines, combined with newly restored woven cotton straps for both seat and backrest. The design reflects strong Bauhaus influence while maintaining a distinctive organic character. An exceptional collector’s item, highly sought after for its architectural form and timeless aesthetic.
