Private sellerProduct description
This is a photographic artwork, titled 'Light #3', by the Dutch artist Jan Luitjes. The work is characterized by its striking panoramic format and modern, frameless presentation, which emphasizes the deep colors and the atmosphere of the nocturnal scene.
The photo is produced using the DIASAC technique, where the print is mounted behind plexiglass. This process not only ensures intense color depth and a high-gloss finish but also provides protection for the artwork. The image shows a serene landscape under a nocturnal sky, where the interplay of artificial light and darkness is central. According to a note on the back, the work originates from the 'Hello Gorgeous' auction on November 17, 2012.
The overall condition of the artwork is excellent. The DIASAC finish has preserved the photo well, keeping the colors and details clear and vibrant. The work is equipped with an aluminum hanging system on the back, allowing it to be directly mounted on the wall and creating a floating effect.
A note mentions that a version of this work, as a triptych, is included in the collection of the Photography Museum Amsterdam (FOAM), which underscores its artistic value. Due to its elongated shape and contemporary appearance, this piece fits well into a modern or minimalist interior, for example, above a sideboard or in a hallway.
