This oil painting comes from the estate of his wife Thea Gregoor-Velthuijs, the sister of Max Velthuijs who created the Kikker children's books.
This painting has been exhibited by the Van Abbenmuseum, among others, see photo of the back of the painting.
In 1979, museum director Rudy Fuchs described his admiration for the work and person Jan Gregoor in a text, as did the artist Jan Dibbets, see photos.
