A true Swedish design icon from the 1970s: the sculptural and ultra-comfortable Etcetera armchair, designed by Jan Ekselius. This rare specimen captures the bold, flowing lines and soft shapes characteristic of the Space Age era and has become a sought-after classic in international design collections.
Originally designed as Ekselius' graduation project at the Royal College of Art in London, the Etcetera armchair gained cult status for its striking form and exceptional comfort. The organically shaped frame is made of curved steel, with an elastic base that provides a soft yet supportive seat.
This particular armchair has been completely restored and reupholstered with high-quality Kvadrat wool - one of the world's finest textile manufacturers, known for its craftsmanship and exceptional quality. The new foam makes the armchair feel like new, while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
A collector's item of 20th-century Scandinavian design, revived with contemporary sophistication. Completely reupholstered with new foam and Tonus 4 Kvadrat wool. Excellent condition.
