This exceptional ceiling lamp, designed by Jan Eisenloeffel, is a refined example of early 20th-century Dutch design.
An example of this lamp can be viewed at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, now the Kunstmuseum Den Haag, housed in the iconic building designed by Hendrik Petrus Berlage. This museum context highlights the artistic and historical significance of the design. (but also on location ofcourse)

The electrical components of the lamp, including the wiring and fittings, have been professionally renewed, making it fully suitable for contemporary use. The fixture has also been newly upholstered in a soft white shantung silk, whose subtle texture diffuses the light in a gentle and atmospheric way.
A rare object for the admirer of Dutch design and a unique opportunity to bring a museum-quality piece into your interior. As you can see, two examples are currently available. The chains feature different motifs, offering a choice in decorative detail. Both are, of course, available in equal condition.
