Very nice netsuke of Fukurokuju, a deity from Japanese mythology and one of the seven gods of fortune (Shichi-fuku-jin), revered as the god of wisdom, wealth, long life and happiness.
The netsuke is in good condition, measures 4 inches tall and was carved from elephant ivory during the Meiji/Taisho period around 1910 to 1920.
This item was worked before March 3, 1947, comes with a valid EU certificate and therefore allowed for sale.
