Since the mid-1980s Yaacov Kaufman has been collaborating with Italian and European manufacturers such as Lumina Italia, Tecno, Arflex, and Sisustuskkuna Oy, Finland. His designs have been shown in important international exhibitions, and he has been awarded many major prizes.
In 2003 his "Arketto" light received the Norwegian Design Council Award for Industrial Design Excellence. "Arketto," an elegant design based on well-known principles, is an example of slim-lined flexibility that expresses Kaufman's future-oriented thinking.
