Product description
This is the Saturno table lamp, produced by Banci Firenze in Italy during the 1970s. The design reflects the Space Age aesthetic, characterised by its distinctive layered, spherical form that evokes planetary rings. The lamp is constructed from brushed stainless steel and brass, creating a striking contrast of metallic finishes. The base features a series of stacked, graduated discs resting on a cross-shaped support. It is fitted with a multi-bulb fixture, designed to provide substantial illumination. The piece is presented with a dark, cylindrical shade that complements the metallic base. The lamp remains in very good condition, retaining its original structural integrity and finish. The brushed steel and brass surfaces display a natural patina consistent with age and careful use. This substantial piece serves as a strong focal point in both vintage and contemporary interiors. Its sculptural presence pairs well with mid-century modern furniture or adds a bold, architectural element to a minimalist setting. Lamp will be sold without shade for posting purposes.
