Italian Pendant Light, circa 1970s
A striking Italian pendant light dating from the 1970s, composed of a sculptural arrangement of three suspended light sources beneath a wide, deep red-toned disc-shaped canopy.
Each pendant features a cylindrical white lacquered metal shade, punctuated by a series of small perforations near its lower edge, and finished with a distinctive faceted clear glass diffuser. The three elements hang at different heights, creating an elegant, asymmetrical composition and adding a strong sense of movement to the piece.
Its geometric forms and contrasting materials give the chandelier a distinctly Space Age / Mid-Century-inspired aesthetic, while the playful arrangement of the individual pendants adds a sculptural, almost kinetic quality.
