Kazuhide Takahama was born in Japan in 1930. He studied architecture in Tokyo. Later, he worked in the studio of Kazuo Fuioka. In 1957, he attended the Milan Triennale in Italy. There he met Dino Gavina, with whom he would collaborate for many years.
His furniture is characterized by clean lines and formal restraint.
