Product description
We present this fantastic oil painting on cardboard dating back to the early decades of the 20th century. The painting bears the signature N. Chianese on the bottom right (see photo). Attributable to the Italian landscape painter Nicolò Chianese (Sampierdarena, Genoa, 1898 – 1971), painted without authentication.
This painting highlights the artist's artistic qualities, underlining the sensitivity and mastery in capturing the essence of the Italian countryside. The warm summer colors, especially the vibrant yellow of the wheat field, evoke a sense of warmth and vitality. The lush vegetation and clear blue sky give depth and serenity to the scene. The use of thick brushstrokes to convey volume demonstrates the artist's skill in materializing the natural landscape, while the absence of characters allows the viewer to fully immerse themselves in the tranquil atmosphere. Enclosed in a beautiful gold frame, this painting not only celebrates the beauty of nature, but also serves as an attractive centerpiece for any collection, especially for those who love the charm of the Italian countryside.
