Product description
An exceptional Italian cocktail bar from the 1970s, distinguished by its sculptural design, the richly patterned burl wood veneer, elegant brass-colored details, and special integrated lighting.
This impressive liquor cabinet embodies the glamorous spirit of 1970s Italian interior design; a combination of luxurious materials, bold architectural forms, and refined functionality.
The generously curved front is finished with beautifully patterned burl wood veneer, showcasing a unique natural grain and warm, golden hues. A flowing, brass-colored band follows the sculptural contours of the bar, forming an elegant contrast with the richly veined wood and the black faux leather upholstery.
The upper part features an illuminated back panel with mirrored surfaces, glass shelves, and a decorative black panel with abstract, backlit motifs – an atmospheric setting for presenting glassware and spirits.
One of the most striking architectural elements is the tall, cylindrical light column, illuminated from above by a hidden light source in the brass-colored top section. When the lighting is switched on, a soft, diffused glow is created, enhancing the dramatic character of the entire piece of furniture.
A particularly unique detail is the integrated, cylindrical plexiglass aquarium on the right side of the bar. It was originally designed as a decorative aquarium and still has the electrical connections for a filter system. However, it can also serve excellently as a striking display case for liquor bottles or decorative objects. If one wishes to use it as an aquarium, a prior inspection of its watertightness and technical components is necessary.
Behind the bar are practical storage compartments and shelves for bottles, glassware, and bar accessories.
The bar comes with two matching, cylindrical bar stools, executed in the same richly patterned burl wood veneer, with brass-colored accents and seats upholstered in black faux leather. Their round shapes seamlessly complement the elegant curves of the bar.
Thanks to its special proportions, integrated lighting, and unique decorative elements, this cocktail bar forms an impressive showpiece for a refined private home, a recreation room, a luxurious hospitality interior, or a collector's collection.
A striking example of glamorous 1970s Italian furniture design.
