Magnificent floral glass art bowl, likely dating from the 1960s-1970s.
A particularly sculptural piece, whose shape evokes a flower or a widely opened corolla. The thick glass unfolds in irregular, ribbed petals around a central heart, creating beautiful plays of light and transparency.
Its significant density — 1.482 kg for just 22 cm — gives it a remarkable presence and beautiful stability.
The quality of the glasswork, the generous volumes, and this organic silhouette evoke the creations of Italian glassworks from the second half of the 20th century, particularly the world of Murano glass. However, the piece bears neither signature nor original label.
More than just a vase, this piece can be presented as a true sculptural object, alone on a console, a bookshelf, or a coffee table. It stands on its own and immediately adds a touch of character to an interior.
