This is a charming vintage Italian side table, a so-called 'bijouterie' table. The piece is immediately recognizable by its refined inlay work, a technique known as marquetry, and the surprising built-in music box. The table was made in Italy, probably around the mid-20th century, and has a striking triangular shape. The top is decorated with detailed floral and geometric patterns in various shades of wood. When you lift the top, it reveals a red velvet-lined storage space, perfect for jewelry or small keepsakes. The Swiss Lador music box plays the melody of 'Dr. Zhivago'. Overall, the furniture is in good vintage condition consistent with its age. The woodwork has a warm appearance, and the original finish has been preserved.
