About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a glass art vase by the renowned Romanian artist Ioan Nemțoi. The object is characterized by its unique, organic shape and vibrant, abstract color composition, which is representative of Nemțoi's expressive style.
The vase is made of hand-blown glass and has a cylindrical base that transitions into a soft, triangular opening with a black rim. The main color is a deep red, on which a dynamic interplay of abstract forms in yellow, blue, orange, and black has been applied. Ioan Nemțoi (born 1964) is considered an important successor in the tradition of the Brancusi style, which places his work within modern European Glass art. This specific piece comes from the Romart Gallery in Amsterdam, confirming its provenance.
The object is in excellent, impeccable condition. Its authenticity is further underscored by the artist's etched signature on the glass surface, a hallmark of his original works.
This vase functions as a powerful autonomous art object on a sideboard, console, or in a display cabinet. It adds an artistic and colorful accent to a modern, eclectic, or minimalist interior.
