Product description
WAITING FOR CHANGES Art print by Inna Etuvgi The artwork, a fusion of photography and AI-enhanced digital art, encapsulates the theme of embracing change despite fears and uncertainties. It symbolizes the inner courage that encourages transformation and embodies the idea that change is an inseparable part of life. We live in a world where only instability is stable. Yet, we often avoid change for fear of losing our old selves and the things we're used to, even if they are uncomfortable or limiting. But change is alive, and there is always a small, brave part of us that is never afraid and is very courageous to change, because that part knows that change is life. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi fine art photographer whose work explores the delicate balance between nature, humanity, and technology. Raised in the remote Arctic, where survival depends on sensitivity to the smallest signs of nature, Etuvgi developed a deep respect for the fragile ecosystems she now captures in her art. Living with aphantasia—an inability to visualize mental images—Etuvgi turns to nature to depict her inner landscapes, using her camera and digital art to externalize emotions and sensations. Through her macro photography, she magnifies the intricate details of nature's smallest elements, urging viewers to see their beauty, quiet resilience, and essential role in sustaining ecosystems. Her work emphasizes our connection to nature and challenges the human-centric worldview, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all life and encouraging a more thoughtful, compassionate relationship with the natural world. Her artistic journey began in 2020. Etuvgi was internationally recognized as a finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize in 2022 and received a grant from the Swedish Art Grant Scheme in 2023. As art critic Tabish Khan notes, "Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature." PRINT DATE Signed giclee print 7/15 from 2023
