Beautiful and rare ML1F “Bamboo” floor light, designed by Ingo Maurer for Design M in 1968. A characteristic early design by Ingo Maurer with an elegant, almost sculptural form. The slender metal base consists of several tapered segments, inspired by the shape of bamboo. The flared base and trumpet-shaped top give the lamp a beautiful Space Age / Hollywood Regency look. Made of shiny metal and equipped with two light sources. The large salmon-colored shade, in combination with the metal base, provides a particularly warm and atmospheric light. The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition, with only light signs of wear appropriate for its age. Fully functional.
