About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
We are moving and have to sell a favorite piece: an extraordinary solid wood cabinet with a historic old teak front door from Rajasthan, India.
The historic teak front door, approx. 100 years old (according to information at the time of purchase), was integrated in 2010 into a newly manufactured cabinet body made of rosewood.
The elaborate wood carvings, large iron fittings, decorative metal rivets and traditional closures make the cabinet a special unique piece with history.
Dimensions:
* Width: 111 cm
* Height: 186 cm
* Depth: 47 cm
Condition:
Very well-maintained, used condition. The historic doors show a distinct patina and age-related signs of wear, which constitute the special character of the furniture piece. See photos for more details.
An extraordinary cabinet for lovers of Asian furniture, historic craftsmanship and individual furnishings. Chance of appreciation, as historic front doors are now scarce.
For collection. Viewing possible by arrangement. Private sale with exclusion of liability for material defects. No returns.
