Product description
A set of four cantilever chairs, manufactured in the style of the influential Bauhaus designer Mart Stam. These chairs combine a minimalist frame with a comfortable seat, a characteristic of the functionalist design from that period. The design is a tribute to the iconic S34 chair, known for its cantilever construction that revolutionized furniture design. The chairs are made with a frame of chromed tubular steel, forming a continuous, flowing line from the base to the armrests. The seat, backrest, and armrests are upholstered in white leather, finished with contrasting stitching. The dimensions of the chairs are a total height of 80 cm, a width of 59 cm, and a seat height of 46 cm. These Italian productions reflect the timeless aesthetic of the Bauhaus movement. The overall condition of the set is good, with a character that testifies to age and use. The leather and chrome have developed an authentic patina that contributes to the vintage look of the chairs. The construction remains solid and functional, ready for a new environment. These chairs are versatile, for example as Dining chairs, as seating in a meeting room, or as a stylish addition to a lounge area. They fit seamlessly into modern, industrial, and eclectic interiors and make a statement of classic design. The leather is in good vintage condition. A bit of crackle. See the photos
