Product description
Superb artisanal turned stoneware pitcher from the mid-20th century, circa 1960-1970, French work in the spirit of Puisaye or La Borne productions, with an aesthetic strongly reminiscent of Japanese pottery such as Iga kilns. Beautiful slender and balanced shape, with a wide belly and narrow neck, equipped with a robust handle and a pronounced pouring spout. Adorned with an ash glaze in superb shades of khaki green on the upper part and a beautiful warm brown body. The glazing on the upper part forms long, natural, particularly decorative drips.
Height 34 cm, maximum width 20 cm with the handle, diameter approximately 16 cm. Very good general condition, nothing notable. Estimated weight between 2 and 3 kg.
