Description Artfully decorated altar cross, made of metal, dating to the early 20ᵉ century. The figures beside the crucified Jesus are Mary, the Mother of God (on Jesus' right), and the apostle John, the disciple whom Jesus loved dearly (on Jesus' left). This crucifix is decorated with the allusions of the four Evangelists: an angel (Matthew), a bull (Luke), an eagle (John) and a lion (Mark). Furthermore, under the cross we find another image of a phoenix, symbol of the resurrection, as well as the Greek letters alpha (Α) and omega (Ω) (Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega."), and the labarum, the crossed Greek letters chi (Χ) and rho (Ρ) (as an abbreviation of Christus Rex). The base is also artfully decorated. On the back of this altar cross we find the inscription DEP. Height: 45 cm Width: 19 cm Depth: 14 cm Weight: 2 kg
