A striking and substantial pair of lamps by Philippe Cheverny, circa 1970. The geometric metal structure is adorned with a gilded metal compression mounted on black plexiglass. The entire piece is topped by a large, original lampshade mounted on a telescopic arm, adjustable in height from 90cm to 1.13m. Each lamp uses two bayonet bulbs and retains its original cables and switches. There is some wear to the structure and the lampshades. The lampshades measure 43 x 29 x 45cm (height).
