Product description
Striking PORJUS mobile from IKEA, introduced in 2021. An airy and sculptural design where geometric shapes, shiny metal, and subtle color differences come together.
The mobile consists of three balanced elements in copper, brass, and silver-colored tones. The combination of closed surfaces, open wire constructions, and freely moving arms creates a different image from every angle. The polished metal also catches the light, causing the mobile to constantly change throughout the day.
The design has a clear kinship with kinetic art and mid-century modernism, but remains light and contemporary due to its refined execution. When hung correctly, the design comes into its own and almost takes on the character of a small hanging sculpture.
The PORJUS is no longer part of the IKEA assortment and is not regularly available, which means this design is offered less and less frequently.
Made of steel, partly copper-plated. Dimensions approximately Ø 50 cm and 64 cm high.
In good condition and complete. The parts hang beautifully balanced and move freely. The photos are part of the description and clearly show the condition and different views.
