About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
The IKEA Markerad chair, designed by Virgil Abloh, is a striking reinterpretation of the classic Swedish spindle chair. This design combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern, playful twist, characteristic of Abloh's style.
Crafted from solid beech wood, the chair displays a light, natural wood color that emphasizes the organic texture of the material. The most eye-catching detail is the integrated wooden doorstop on one of the front legs, a typical ironic element of the designer. The chair features the original IKEA and Abloh labels, confirming its authenticity.
This chair fits perfectly into a modern or eclectic interior. It is a functional piece of furniture that also serves as a subtle statement piece in a dining room or as a unique desk chair.
The chair is part of the temporary and limited MARKERAD collection from 2019, which is no longer available and is beloved by design enthusiasts and collectors.
