Classic 80s Postmodern Design. Selling a genuine vintage IKEA "Grund" valet stand (dressboy), designed by the iconic Niels Gammelgaard in the 1980s. This piece is a fantastic example of minimal, postmodern Italian-influenced design from IKEA's golden era. Sleek & Functional. Crafted from a single, continuous piece of bent black tubular metal, its graphic silhouette looks like a piece of functional sculpture in a bedroom, dressing room, or hallway. It features a built-in hanger shape for jackets or shirts and a lower bar for trousers. Condition. Excellent vintage condition with only minor, normal signs of age. The black matte coating is intact and the frame is sturdy and perfectly stable.
