Product description
This is the Nocturnal glass sculpture, designed by Japanese artist Junko Mizuno for the 2018 IKEA Art Event. The object combines the designer's distinctive manga-inspired style with the artisanal tradition of glass art, resulting in a striking and collectible design piece.
The sculpture is crafted from solid, transparent glass with a subtle purple tint. The design features a stylized female figure with detailed reliefs and gold-colored accents on the face. The underside bears the inscription 'Junko Mizuno for IKEA', confirming its authenticity and provenance. The object has a substantial weight of over one kilogram, contributing to its solid and high-quality character.
The object is in excellent condition and shows no visible signs of use. The original finish and gold-colored details have remained completely intact.
This glass sculpture is a sophisticated addition to a modern or eclectic interior. The object comes into its own particularly well on a sideboard, in a display cabinet, or as part of a broader art collection, where the light can accentuate the transparent and colored properties of the glass.
