For lovers of high-quality Italian design: a unique and beautiful set of two original iGuzzini uplight Floor lights from the 80s.
In the vintage world, 'matching pairs' (sets of two) are extremely rare and highly sought after. This iconic model represents the minimalist, postmodern shift of the renowned iGuzzini brand in the Eighties.
With their sleek, graphic silhouette and architectural design, these lamps are an absolute eye-catcher in modern, vintage, and industrial interiors alike.
Features & Specifications:
• Designer/Brand: iGuzzini (Italy)
• Period: 80s (Postmodern / Space Age)
• Type: Upright uplighter / Floor light (190 cm high)
• Design: Slender, square metal rod on a heavy, stable base plate (23.5 by 27 cm). The rectangular metal shade features the iconic, fine slats (louvres) for a beautiful diffuse light effect towards the ceiling.
• Light source: Halogen (easily replaceable with energy-efficient, dimmable R7s LED lamps).
• Operation: Equipped with a floor dimmer in the cord to set the perfect ambiance.
Condition:
Both lamps are in very good vintage condition. The construction is fully intact, the slats are perfectly straight, and the dimmers work smoothly. There are only a few light, superficial signs of use inherent to their age (see photos), which contributes to the authentic character of these design classics.
