About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic Brumbury table lamp, produced by the Italian manufacturer iGuzzini. The design is an icon from the Space Age era of the 1970s, immediately recognizable by its characteristic mushroom shape and layered construction.
The lamp is made with a white plastic shade resting on a cream-colored holder and a weighted, chrome-plated metal base. This specific model, with article number 4009, accommodates four light sources. A unique feature is the double switch on the cord, which allows the light sources in the shade and the base to be switched on individually or together for varied light distribution.
The item is in very good condition, consistent with its age and careful use. The original 'iGuzzini spa made in italy' sticker is present and legible, confirming its authenticity and origin. The lamp retains its original luster and structural integrity.
With its sculptural presence, this lamp functions both as a light source and as a decorative object. It is a fitting addition to an interior in Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, or eclectic style, for example, on a sideboard, desk, or side table.
