The iGuzzini 'DaDa' is a versatile wall or ceiling lamp from the Space Age period, designed by the renowned Italian lighting house. This specific model, with its distinctive convex square shape, is a classic example of the innovative use of plastic in 1970s design.
The lamp is crafted from white, translucent plastic (plexiglass/acrylic) that ensures a soft, diffuse light distribution. The shade rests on a white metal fixture, featuring the original iGuzzini brand label (model 5091). The fixture is suitable for a light source of up to 60 watts. The clean, geometric lines combined with the organic curvature in the center give the lamp a timeless, architectural appearance.
The object is in very good condition, with the plastic shade retaining its bright white color. The construction is fully intact and the original socket is present, underscoring the authenticity of this vintage piece.
