Product description
For the design enthusiast and connoisseur with an eye for detail: an original iGuzzini "Sirio" wall lamp (also usable as a table lamp). This iconic piece of Italian Space Age design was designed in the 70s by Sergio Brazzoli and Ermanno Lampa for Harvey iGuzzini. A beautiful minimalist design that immediately adds atmosphere to a high-end vintage interior.
The lamp is in authentic condition and is ideally suited for collectors who know the value of this model and want to give it the right attention.
Features & Condition:
• Design: Sergio Brazzoli & Ermanno Lampa for iGuzzini (Italy, 70s).
• Construction: White plastic housing with a convex opal glass shade.
• Spring system: The glass shade is clamped into the housing via the original internal spring system (i.e., without a screw thread).
• Condition of the glass: Due to the tension of the clamping springs, some chips/frays have appeared over the years on the edge of the glass shade (top side). This is a known phenomenon with this specific model. Please note: As soon as the shade is placed in the housing, these chips fall completely within the edge. The lamp then appears optically completely intact.
• Technique: The original pull switch (cord) is present and the mechanism works smoothly. The wiring and fitting are currently not tested. For an enthusiast with expertise, checking or updating the simple electronics is a small, grateful effort.
