Product description
This is the two-volume set of the 1999 iF Design Award yearbooks, published by Industrie Forum Design Hannover. The set forms an important reference work and a visual overview of leading designs at the end of the 20th century, a period of growing ecological awareness in the design world. The collection consists of two hardcover bound books, characterized by a striking graphic design in red and white. Part one, 'Ecology Interaction', and part two, 'Ecology Product', document the winning designs of that year. The texts are bilingual, in German and English, and offer a comprehensive insight into the innovations in product, industrial, and interactive design from 1999. The books are in very good condition, appropriate for their age. The bindings are sturdy and the pages are clean and clear; only the spines of parts 1 & 2 and the red back cover of part 2 show discoloration. See photos for details. This collection is a valuable addition to the library of a design professional, student, or collector. The books function both as a source of inspiration and as a decorative object on a coffee table or in a bookcase.
