Beautiful, large and rare green Murano "Fazzoletto" (handkerchief) vase from the 60s/70s, Italy
Hand-blown from high-quality, two-tone "cased" Murano glass. It has a beautiful apple-green exterior with a contrasting milky white opaline interior. This gives the object that ultimate, cheerful Space Age / Pop Art aesthetic that is currently incredibly popular in high-end interiors.
The organic, wavy folds of the rim are masterfully shaped, allowing flowers (tulips) to fall beautifully into it.
The authentic, rough pontil mark of the glassblower is clearly visible on the underside.
It is in very good vintage condition with no significant signs of wear. Only has the well-known sliding marks/scratches on the underside. The photos are part of the description.
