Private sellerProduct description
Offered: A beautiful, original Stokke Actulum ergonomic design chair. This timeless model was designed in 1995 by the legendary Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik, known for his groundbreaking vision on 'active sitting' (known from, among others, the Tripp Trapp and the Variable Balans).
This specific piece features striking and warm retro-orange fabric upholstery, combined with an elegant frame of layered European wood (beech/ash). Thanks to this distinctive color, the chair is not only an ergonomic masterpiece but also a fantastic vintage design statement in any modern or eclectic interior.
Design & comfort:
The Actulum combines the comfort of an active Office chairs with the elegance of a dining chair. Thanks to the patented base with curved wooden runners, the chair silently follows the natural movements of your body. The slender backrest is mounted on a flexible rubber joint, allowing it to subtly move with you when leaning back. This stimulates the core muscles and relieves the back and neck during long sitting sessions.
