Product description
Bring the ultimate mid-century atmosphere into your interior with this imposing, original West-Germany floor vase from the renowned manufacturer Scheurich Keramik. This is the iconic model 408-40 from the 70s, an absolute design classic among collectors. The vase features a beautiful, fiery gradient glaze from bright red to vibrant orange, transitioning into a thick, rough, volcanic-looking black "Fat Lava" texture at the base. Thanks to its impressive height of no less than 40 cm, this is a fantastic statement piece for the floor, a sideboard, or an empty corner. Details & Features: • Manufacturer: Scheurich Keramik (West-Germany) • Model number: 408-40 (clearly marked on the bottom) • Period: 70s / Mid-Century Modern • Style: Fat Lava / Space Age • Colors: Red, Orange, Black / Dark Brown • Height: 40 cm Condition: The vase is in excellent vintage condition. The glaze is beautifully shiny and the rough lava structure is completely intact. No chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. A perfectly sound piece for the true enthusiast.
