The Ib Kofod Larsen teak sideboard by Faarup Møbelfabrik is a beautiful example of Danish design from the 1960s, a period in which simplicity, craftsmanship, and refined proportions converged. Designer Ib Kofod Larsen was known for his elegant, almost sculptural furniture, in which functionality always went hand in hand with a warm and timeless appearance.
This generous teak sideboard is crafted from beautiful, warm teak with a vibrant grain that continues beautifully across the front and sides. The characteristic Danish roller doors slide open smoothly and disappear completely into the furniture, revealing the contents without taking up any space. Inside, the furniture offers practical storage space with shelves and drawers. The slender, tapered legs give the whole a light and elegant appearance, while the beautifully finished back allows the sideboard to be positioned freely in the room.
The sideboard is in excellent vintage condition and has been carefully restored to fully showcase the warm color and character of the teak. The legs are also easy to disassemble, making transport and installation much easier.
A stylish and spacious Danish design piece that effortlessly brings tranquility, warmth, and character to both modern and classic interiors.
