Product description
This is a vintage ceiling or wall lamp by the German manufacturer Walther Hustadt Leuchten. The lamp is made of thick, textured glass and is a cool example of mid-century lighting. The design, often described as 'ice glass' or 'bubble glass', was super popular in the 60s and 70s.
The shade is made of clear, pressed glass with a bubble pattern on top and a ribbed side, which creates a beautiful diffused light effect. The base is metal and the lamp is designed to be mounted on both the ceiling and the wall. This type of lamp, produced in Neheim-Hüsten, is known for its solid quality and typical Space Age aesthetic.
The lamp is in good vintage condition consistent with its age. The glass is completely intact and the lamp retains its authentic character. It is a versatile piece that adds atmosphere to a hallway, bedroom or living room. It fits perfectly into a retro, eclectic or modern interior.
