Hustadt-Leuchten Illuminated Mirror | 1970s | Space Age | Acrylic Glass. A rare, original illuminated wall mirror by Hustadt-Leuchten, Neheim-Hüsten, from the 1970s. An exceptional piece of German lighting design: The large, round mirror is framed by a wide, transparent, and highly textured acrylic glass frame. Concealed light sources illuminate the frame from behind, creating a beautiful, warm light effect. The irregular, icy-looking structure of the acrylic refracts the light, giving the mirror its characteristic Ice Glass/Space Age look. The original white metal frame with a perforated edge and four sockets is located on the back. Original manufacturer's label: HUSTADT-LEUCHTEN, NEHEIM-H. The mirror can be used both as a functional wall mirror and as an atmospheric light source, and is ideal for hallways, bedrooms, dressing rooms, bathrooms, or as a statement piece in a mid-century interior.
