About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A complete Dining set by the French manufacturer Hugues Chevalier is offered, consisting of a table and six chairs. The ensemble is characterized by its Art-Déco-inspired lines and the use of noble materials, embodying timeless elegance.
The set includes an extendable dining table with an integrated butterfly extension mechanism and six matching chairs, two of which are armchairs and four are armless chairs. The furniture is made of solid wood with a high-gloss, warm brown finish. The seats and backrests of the chairs are upholstered in high-quality, cream-colored leather, creating an elegant contrast to the darker wood of the frames.
The set is in good, well-maintained condition, consistent with its age and regular use. The surfaces show a characteristic patina that highlights the history and authenticity of the ensemble. The construction is consistently solid and testifies to the high craftsmanship for which Hugues Chevalier is known.
This Dining set is a representative centerpiece for any sophisticated dining room or a spacious living-dining area. It harmoniously blends into classic, modern, or Art-Déco-style interiors and provides a stylish setting for social occasions.
