About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This vintage display cabinet (highboard) comes from Germany and is dated 1957. It is made of Nussbaum (walnut) with a light, honey-like color. The warm tone and calm lines make the cabinet typical for the 1950s.
On the left is a display cabinet door with brown tinted glass and three wooden shelves, nice for displaying crockery or glassware. On the right are two doors with vertical panels, with three shelves behind each door. The cabinet has an open base with three drawers on four tapered legs, making the cabinet appear light.
The cabinet is in good, original condition, with light signs of wear. The key plate of the right door has come loose, but is included. The dating is based on the label on the back of the cabinet.
Dimensions: width 200 cm, height 156 cm, depth 48 cm
This cabinet was bought in Germany in 2020 from a shop specializing in mid-century furniture.
