Title: 'Casa's a la mar' from 2003. Painted on canvas. 50 x 50 x 1 (deep) Blue background (sides of canvas painted along). During this period, I created several cityscapes and landscapes in the colors of Cobra.
Painted by Britt Kleiberg, 1980, Amersfoort. Studio located in Harderwijk. Britt paints animals from all over the world with a story. During the coronavirus period, she highlighted Dutch birds! - She graduated in Graphic Design and Styling before finding her calling in contemporary art. Born into a family with a healthy interest in art, she was exposed to art at an early age and began painting at the age of 10. She loved visiting museums and is grateful for the early training she received. It has provided the foundation for her current journey as a contemporary artist. Positivity, colors, and freedom of movement. The use of color is an important part of her artistic vocabulary: "Colors make people happy, and I want to bring joy and positivity into the world." Her color palette can reflect an animal's natural environment, The hunt or an emotion; depending on what she wants to communicate. And however more subdued, the background is part of it. She uses strange, small shapes of color to "fill" her animals. "These represent imaginary continents," she explains, "and can represent the areas where the animal belongs, or where it wants to be.
