Product description
This is a unique sculpture of a head, crafted with a mixed collage technique. The work stands out for its expressive and layered composition, which brings together a multitude of images, patterns, and colors into a captivating whole. It is an authentic and unique piece by the artist Van de Velde Marie Jeanne (MJVDV). The work has been varnished three times. The head itself is a self-built mixed technique. The artwork is a mixed-media object, where various paper fragments have been applied to a three-dimensional form and then finished with a glossy lacquer layer that protects and intensifies the colors. The head is mounted on a sleek, black wooden pedestal that forms an elegant contrast with the vibrant collage. The palette is rich and varied, with prominent shades of red, blue, yellow, and black creating a dynamic visual experience. The overall condition of the sculpture is excellent, without visible signs of wear. The finish is intact and the construction is solid. The work has an eclectic and modern character, combining elements from pop art, abstract expressionism, and figurative drawing. This sculpture is a powerful statement piece that will fit well in a modern, eclectic, or minimalist interior. It can be placed on a dresser, in a bookcase, or on a console, where it will undoubtedly attract attention and add an artistic dimension to the space.
